 Boone's growing jealousy over Shannon's friendship threatens to erupt in violence until Locke steps in. Drugging Boone, Locke leaves him stranded in the jungle, where he must confront his feelings for his sister and the menacing creature that stalks him from the shadows.

 Michael becomes concerned when his son, Walt, starts to develop a special bond with John Locke. Michael orders Locke to keep away from his son. Determined that the island is no place to raise a child, Michael suggests to Jack and Sayid that they build a raft, but his suggestions is shot down.

 After many days, Claire is finally found. While walking in the jungle, Jin and Charlie are confronted by Ethan Rom, who gives an ultimatum; bring Claire back or one of the survivors will die each day. A trap is set to catch Ethan using Claire as bait, but when Boone falls asleep on sentry duty, the results are tragic.

 In the middle of the night, a wild boar steals the tarp that Sawyer has been using for his roof. Sawyer ensues Kate's help to track down the boar, but she takes advantage of the situation by asking him for something in return. While Kate and Sawyer divulge dark secrets to each other, Charlie's strange behaviour causes Hurley to suspect he's suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

 Michaels raft is burned and everyone's suspicions turn to Jin, whose inability to defend himself prompts him to flee into the jungle. As the castaway's hunt Jin down, Sun must decide the best way to protect her husband, even as she suspects he may be guilty.

 Michael starts working on building a new raft. He tells Jack that the chances of them being found on the raft would increase if they could send out a distress signal. With the transceiver requiring new batteries, Hurley remembers Sayid mentioning that Danielle had batteries. He suggests they try and find her. While searching for Rousseau's layer, Hurley discovers that the island may linked to a secret from his past.

 Locke and Boone attempt to open the hatch using their latest invention. Back on the beach, Sawyer is suffering from headaches and asks Jack for his medical opinion on what might be causing them. While in the jungle, Boone and Locke make a surprise discovery- which has tragic consequences for one of them.

 Locke leaves the seriously injured Boone at the caves, forcing Jack to heroic actions to save his life. Unaware that her brothers life lies in the balance, Shannon spends the night on the beach with Sayid. As their relationship grows, Boones condition worsens. Jacks abilities are further put to the test as Claire goes into labour.

 One island crime is solved, the identity of the arsonist who burned Michaels raft. Shannon becomes convinced that Locke is responsible for Boones death and ask Sayid for a favour. Trekking into the jungle with Locke, Sayid becomes convinced he isn't responsible for the tragedy. But Shannon decides to take matters into her own hands.

 With construction of the raft nearing completion, Kate has a special request for Michael, she wants to be on it when it sets sail. During a water break, Michael collapses in pain. Jack examines him and discovers he has been poisoned. Jack and Locke's investigation of the crime leads to a crashing revelation about Kate's past


EPISODE 1 x 23 - EXODUS - PART 1

 Danielle surprises the castaways by showing up at the camp with an ominous warning; "the others are coming". The raft finally sets sail with Michael, Walt, Jin and Sawyer on boards. As the depart, black smoke mysteriously appears from the other side of the island, a signal of the arrival of 'the other'

EPISODE 1 x 24 - EXODUS - PART 2

 As the castaways prepare themselves for an attack b the Others, Jack and Lock lead a mission to the Black Rock. What they discover inside has disastrous consequences for one of the castaways. The raft crew run into trouble when their rudder is damaged. Back on the island, Claire's baby is kidnapped, leading Charlie and Sayid on a dangerous chase into the jungle.

EPISODE 1 x 25 - EXODUS - PART 3

AIRDATE: 26tT SEPT 2005

 Charlie and Sayid stumble into a trap as they race to confront the kidnapper. Jack and Lock argue as the prepare to blow the hatch open. The raft crew is overjoyed to be discovered by a passing boat, but the excitement is short-lived when they realize that things are not what they appear. The hatch is finally opened...
